You’re not alone in the messiness of life. I’ve been there too—grieving, doubting, navigating trauma—and I’ve come to believe that our spirituality, culture, and generational stories aren’t burdens; they’re hidden superpowers with the potential to reshape how we see ourselves and our world. Let’s explore that together.

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (AMFT). I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer low-cost EMDR sessions to make trauma-focused healing more accessible.

I work with individuals, couples, families, teens, emerging adults, elders, d/Deaf and differently-abled clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community—creating a space that honors all parts of your identity and lived experience. I speak English and can communicate using American Sign Language (ASL) to ensure more inclusive access to therapy.

My approach is grounded in:
Grief work, cultural sensitivity, narrative therapy, EMDR, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), solution-focused, strength-based methods, trauma-focused care and family systems theory.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based approach for healing trauma, grief, and distressing life events. By using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping), EMDR helps the brain reprocess overwhelming memories so they feel less charged and more resolved. Whether you're navigating traumatic loss, anxiety, or long-held emotional pain, EMDR offers a path toward deeper relief and integration.

  • Whether you’re navigating the death of a loved one, the loss of a pet, a significant change in career or health, or the aftereffects of trauma, you don’t have to go through it alone. I provide a safe, compassionate space to process pain, honor what has been lost, and begin to reimagine life with new meaning. For those coping with trauma or PTSD, I use evidence-based approaches to reduce distress, increase resilience, and help you feel more grounded in the present.

  • Living with anxiety, depression, or other mood-related challenges can feel overwhelming and isolating. In therapy with me, you’ll have space to untangle difficult emotions, understand root causes, and build healthier coping tools. I work with you to improve self-esteem, regulate emotions, and reduce symptoms so you can feel more connected, confident, and in control of your life.

  • Relationships can bring joy, but they can also bring pain, confusion, and conflict. If you’re facing challenges with a partner, family member, or friend, I can help you improve communication, repair trust, and foster deeper understanding. For families, I support navigating intergenerational dynamics, parenting stress, and conflict resolution so that healthier patterns and stronger bonds can emerge.

  • Your sense of identity—spiritual, cultural, and racial—shapes how you see yourself and how you experience the world. I offer a supportive environment to explore questions of belonging, purpose, and authenticity. My role is to honor and validate the complexities of your identity exploration, helping you embrace your full self while navigating challenges such as discrimination, cultural expectations, or spiritual shifts.
