PRIVATE PRACTICE GRIEF/Los Angeles Consortium of Grief Professionals

In Person Trainings on the 3rd Friday of every month!

Working with grievers is incredibly rewarding and inspiring, however it can be isolating and draining for the care provider.

Want more ideas about how to help a grieving widow or widower?

Need more activities for working with children who have had a parent or sibling die?

Want a current list of books and articles about suicide loss or overdose death loss?

Don’t know what to say and NOT say to a client who has had a significant loss?

Feeling stuck with clients who have had major losses but keep telling the same stories over and over again?

How It Works:

  • There is a different topic related to grief each month,

  • You get pertinent and current information

  • You get a list of resources (i.e. websites, groups, books) related to that topic,

  • You get 1 CEU (for MFT/LCSW/LPC’s in California).

  • January 2019: Spouse/Partner Loss Grief

  • February 15 2019: Pet Loss Grief

  • March 15 2019: The Grief of an Overdose or Alcohol Related Death

  • April 19 2019: Parent Loss Grief

I’m Debi Jenkins Frankle

Loss and Grief Expert, LMFT

I have been working with grievers and training grief professionals for more than 25 years across the United States and Canada. Grief is underlying almost all the reasons clients show up at our offices. If we aren't addressing it, we are doing them a disservice. It is my mission to share information about losses and grief that will support and educate you to be more effective with your clients.
